AmeyBriggs secures Airfield Ancillary Equipment Project Contract

AmeyBriggs has been awarded a new £4.2m contract with the RAF.

 

The AAEP contract will deliver a support and management service for a wide variety of vital airfield ancillary equipment such as pallet loaders, trolleys, stairs, aircraft pressurisation, dehumidifying, and weapons handling equipment.  These enable enduring and non-enduring operations at Permanent Joint Operating Bases (PJOBs) and flying activity at UK Main Operating Bases (MOBs) on behalf of UK Defence.

 

The 5-year contract will see AmeyBriggs deliver a wide range of support services such as:

 

  • Fleet management activities
  • Maintenance services
  • Repair and refurbishment
  • Spares provision
  • Post design engineering services
  • Obsolescence management
  • Publications management
  • Safety case management
  • Technical assistance
